Introduction

MSMEs are the backbone of the Indian economy, driving regionally distributed and employment intensive growth. Given their access to limited resources, SMEs require policy support and interventions based on their specific needs.

The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is conducting a survey on Industry which aims to enumerate MSME feedback on various initiatives undertaken by the government and to arrive at policy recommendations & other interventions to support MSMEs. This nationwide survey will also analyze the role played by the sector in employment generation and to assess the job scenario in the sector. Further, this survey aims aid policy formulation with its focus on receiving feedback on the recently launched government initiatives like Trade Receivable Discounting System (TReDS) portal, Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal, Shram Suvidha Portal and interest subvention schemes.

MDRA (Marketing & Development Research Associates) has been authorised to conduct the survey on behalf of CII. The responses provided by you will be treated as strictly confidential and only the aggregate analysis of the survey responses will be reported.
