India has a widespread complementary education system, provided by various coaching institutes, to mainstream Board school courses that are run in various schools. Coaching institutes in India are unregulated and there is no current ranking exercise to guide students preparing for various entrance exams towards quality preparation for the same. This is the first ever attempt to measure, gauge and reflect on these coaching institutes in terms of various intake, process and outcome parameters on a national level.

Country's most prestigious and largest-circulated weekly newsmagazine India Today has started the ranking of Best Coaching Institutes in India in association with MDRA.

MDRA is a pioneer in ranking survey research for Best Colleges and Business Schools across the country.

This survey is an attempt to set the benchmark for tracking coaching institutes that provide best chance of cracking entrance exams of prestigious institutes in India.

In all, entrance exams in 3 streams (JEE, NEET (UG) and CAT) would be covered in this exercise. Coaching institutes need to participate in one or more streams as per the flagship classroom course (with min. 3 passed-out batches) being offered by them.

The results of this survey will be published in India Today.

Coaching institutes are requested to download the requisite participation form and submit the completely filled-up form along with supporting documents by   18^th May, 2020.
